Im having trouble with sharing my media with my ps3 with my computer. Is the ps3 even compatible with windows vista like the xbox 360 is. Because the xbox 360 can detect a windows media player library from windows vista so can ps3 do the same?

Open Windows Media Player and under the Library Tab choose Media Sharing. In the Sharing Settings window you should see Unknown Device. Highlight the Unknown Device and choose Allow. You should now be able to see your Media Server on your PS3.
