Can you use a ps2 multitap on your ps3 while using the ps3 to ps2 controller converter?

Abby K asked:

I saw that this question was already asked but the answer was that there are no ports on the playstation 3. I know this. I have a converter that allows me to use ps2 controllers on my ps3 but only one. I want to know if I can use a multitap with the converter. Please do not answer with you can not hook up a multitap to the ps3.

Very interesting question. As far as I can see I haven’t tried it yet nor do I own a converter. However I believe that it should work, as far as I know the multi-tap seems to act as a splitter not an individual controller itself so if it works for the actual controller it should work for the multi-tap also…though I could very well be wrong.

Umm, I always use this Trp Converter, I think you can try it, or you can search it by yahoo.
